Fun for Everyone!
The
annual Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In features the Front Range Air Show
and three event-filled days of aviation fun and education for the whole
family.
Check
out acres of aircraft on display from historic warbirds to the latest
from today's aircraft manufacturers including LSAs. We also have children's
activities, aviation exhibits, safety seminars and plenty of food.
Check
back often as the RMRFI draws near. We will be adding information on the
event as it becomes available.
About
Us
Colorado
Sport Aviation, Inc., d.b.a. Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In (RMRFI), is
an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to serve and
promote recreational aviation through the hosting of an annual Regional
Fly-In. Recreational aviation encompasses: fun, families, building, restoring,
flying, exploring and learning. Our mission places an emphasis on providing
at-risk and gifted and talented children access to general aviation opportunities
through education, Air Academy Scholarships, Flight Training Grants, introductory
flight experience (EAA's Young Eagle Program) and hands-on construction/technology
seminars.
Events
Details on the weekend events will be posted as they become available.

KidSpace
Conveniently
located near the front gate, KidSpace provides
kids from 6-17 a wide variety of opportunities to experience the fun and
excitement of aviation. Featuring everything from simple hands-on building
projects to educational programs and actual flight experience, KidSpace
will captivate the minds of future pilots and fill their thoughts with
dreams of the boundless opportunities in aviation.
Young
Eagles
The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested
young people, like you, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation
airplane.
Totaling over 1.29 million nationwide, these flights are offered FREE
of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers
who donate their aircraft and piloting skills to give young people an
unforgettable first experience in aviation.
Pilot

Full information for attendees
arriving by plane will be posted as it becomes available.
Volunteers
The Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In is staffed entirely by volunteers.
This has been a tradition since the beginning of the Experimental Aircraft
Association. Each year, over 400 people volunteer. Many volunteers are
local EAA members, however, you don't have to be an EAA member to join
in the fun. The RMRFI can always use extra help in the many aviation or
administrative related positions, even if only for a couple of hours.
Volunteering not only gives you a good feeling of helping support local
aviation, but also registers you for great door prizes from the vendors
and sponsors. If you can volunteer in advance for a four-hour shift, your
admission will be free.
A full list of volunteer opportunities and job descriptions will be
posted soon.
